John Ciraldo is primarily engaged in trials and appeals in federal court, where in addition to business, commercial, and products liability litigation, he represents persons and business entities accused of criminal violations. Mr. Ciraldo has conducted trials in various federal and state courts around the country and has handled numerous appeals in the First and Second Circuit Courts of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He is a shareholder and director of Perkins Thompson.

Mr. Ciraldo was an Adjunct Professor of Law teaching Trial Practice and Criminal Procedure at the University of Maine School of Law.

Mr. Ciraldo is a former President of Perkins Thompson and a former member of the Advisory Committee of the Maine Rules of Evidence, and was Co-Chairman of the Advisory Committee for Pattern Criminal Jury Instructions for the First Circuit Court of Appeals and co-author of the Pattern Jury Instructions for the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
