For over 25 years, Melissa Murphy has concentrated her practice on all matters pertaining to real estate acquisition, ownership, development and financing, with a special emphasis on legal issues pertaining to condominium, timeshare and mixed-use projects and affordable and other specialized housing. She has participated in a number of major real estate projects throughout the State, representing developers, purchasers and lenders, and has presented numerous seminars on condominium, affordable housing and general real estate matters.
Ms. Murphy is a Fellow of the Maine Bar Foundation and is a past member of the Town of Scarborough Open Space Committee, a current member of the Scarborough Housing Alliance, a Trustee of the Scarborough Community Scholarship Foundation, and a Trustee and Secretary of the League of Women Voters Education Fund.
Ms. Murphy has been recognized in Chambers USA as a leading real estate practitioner in Maine and is AV Peer Review Rated for Ethical Standards and Legal Ability by Martindale-Hubbell.
