Tony Manhart joined Perkins Thompson as an associate attorney in 2006 after serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Donald G. Alexander of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court for the 2005-2006 term. Mr. Manhart’s practice focuses on bankruptcy and creditors’ and debtors’ rights, representation of Chapter 7 trustees, and the representation of various parties in formal insolvency and collection proceedings and out-of-court workouts.

After graduation from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the University of Illinois Law Review, Mr. Manhart served as a law clerk for Justices Delahanty, Warren, Gorman and Brodrick of the Maine Superior Court. He then worked as an associate attorney for a law firm specializing in products liability in Boston, Massachusetts.

Mr. Manhart has been a presenter at the Maine State Bar Association on the topic of Maine's Freedom of Access Act. He is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Portland Rotary.

Mr. Manhart resides in Westbrook, Maine.
