Jesse R. Passmore
Jesse Passmore joined Perkins Thompson as an associate attorney in 2018, and currently practices in the firm’s Tax, Trusts and Estates, and Business practice groups. Jesse graduated from the Roger Williams School of Law in 2012 and received his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University in 2013.
Prior to joining Perkins Thompson, Jesse worked for Ernst & Young in New York in the company’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice, where he assisted multinational corporate and private equity clients with tax planning strategies for domestic and multinational business transactions. Jesse brings a holistic and practical approach to business planning by applying his experience working with the “Big Four” accounting firms to tax and business related legal issues.
Jesse has a diverse transactional practice. In addition to his work with the firm’s Tax, Trust and Estates, and Business practice groups, Jesse also has experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions, probate and estate planning.
Jesse is a native Mainer, and is overjoyed to be back in Maine after his years spent living in New York City. In his spare time Jesse enjoys exploring local art exhibits while attempting to create his own artistic pieces (but is often reminded to stick with his day job). Jesse is a resident of the West End of Portland, where he lives with his adopted black cat, Junior.
