John W. Masland
John Masland is a member of our business law and banking and financial services practice groups. John advises businesses on transactional and corporate governance matters, and is committed to building long-term relationships with businesses of all types and at all stages of development. He enjoys working with startups, representing clients in commercial transactions, and helping businesses navigate regulatory and compliance matters. John has assisted clients with mergers, contract drafting and negotiations, secured lending, and business succession plans.
During law school, John was a member of the American Journal of law & Medicine, served as an intern for the Honorable Kermit Lipez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and worked at Greater Boston Legal Services. John previously worked in management consulting and is a graduate of Bowdoin College.
