Julie Ray’s practice focuses on real estate and business transactions, including both stock and asset sales and acquisitions, commercial real estate development and leasing, and condominium developments, including interval and timeshare ownership projects. She also is a member of the Bank and Financial Servides Practice Group, regularly advising clients in connection with asset based financing and commercial lending.

Prior to joining the firm, she was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for a Maine ski resort company. While there, she was involved in the initial public offering of stock in the company and in its acquisition of ski resorts in Utah, Colorado, California, and Nevada. She also assisted the company in its development of several interval and whole ownership condominium projects in both its eastern and western resorts. Previously, Julie was in private practice in Portland.

Ms. Ray is a member of the Board of Directors of Training Resource Center, a nonprofit organization that promotes economic development through workforce training. She has also served as guardian ad litem, with the Court Appointed Special Advocates Program.
