Joe  Talbot
 
Joseph Talbot is an associate attorney at Perkins Thompson, having joined the firm in 2011 following his graduation from the University of Maine School of Law. His practice focuses primarily on litigation matters. He is co-author with David McConnell of the article "Ten Tips to Protect Your Company From Cyber-Security Breach Liability."

While in law school, Mr. Talbot served as an instructor for his school’s legal writing program and a case note and comment editor for the Maine Law Review. He also completed externships for Judge Kermit Lipez of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit; Appellate Chief Margaret McGaughey of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maine; and Judge Ann Murray, who at the time was serving as Chief Judge of the Maine District Courts.

Following graduation Mr. Talbot received the Alumni Association Award presented annually to a graduating law student who is determined by the faculty to be an outstanding member of the graduating class.

Mr. Talbot currently lives in Windham, Maine with his wife and two daughters.
