Lauren B. Weliver is an associate attorney at Perkins Thompson, having joined the firm in 2011. Her practice focuses on bankruptcy and creditors’ and debtors’ rights, representation of Chapter 7 trustees, and the representation of various parties in formal insolvency and collection proceedings and out-of-court work outs.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Weliver managed the Foreclosure Diversion Program for the State of Maine Judicial Branch. She has also served as a law clerk to Hon. Ellen A. Gorman of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
Ms. Weliver is a 2008 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, where she was a case note and comment editor for the Maine Law Review and a teaching assistant for the Legal Writing Program.
