Sara Moppin is an associate attorney at Perkins Thompson, having joined the firm as a full-time attorney in 2008. Her practice focuses primarily on land use and municipal law, government relations, environmental, and regulatory compliance matters. Ms. Moppin has served Perkins Thompson in varying capacities since 2004. Prior to law school, Ms. Moppin served the firm as a paralegal and research assistant to the Land Use Department, and, during law school, she served as a summer associate in 2006 and 2007, and as a winter associate in 2007 and 2008.

Ms. Moppin is a member of the Maine State, Cumberland County, and American Bar Associations. While in law school, she served as the Research Editor of the Maine Law Review and was the first annual recipient of the Shur-Frinsko Award for academic excellence in municipal law, land use and local government.

Ms. Moppin is a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Portland, where she resides with her husband and two Weimaraners.
