Stephanie Williams is an associate attorney at Perkins Thompson, P.A., having joined the firm in 2006 after clerking for Justices William S. Brodrick, Thomas E. Delahanty, II, Ellen A. Gorman, and Joyce A. Wheeler of the Maine Superior Court.
Ms. Williams's practice focuses on commercial litigation, including complex secured transaction matters, foreclosure actions on behalf of large regional and national banks, commercial and retail collections, personal property replevin matters, and commercial and residential evictions. In her practice, Ms. Williams has successfully maximized clients' available rights and remedies in both litigation and out-of-court workout and recovery situations. Ms. Williams also handles business and individual immigration matters, having consistently obtained favorable results in K-1, L-1A, L-1B, H-1B, and TN visa and Adjustment of Status matters.
Ms. Williams co-authored the Maine portion of the USFN Foreclosure Desk Guide, State by State (February 2009), as well as the Maine portion of the USFN State Summary (June 2008). She is also a past Director of the New Lawyer's Section of the Maine State Bar Association, and a member of the American Bar Association, the Maine State Bar Association, and the Cumberland Bar Association.
Ms. Williams resides in Westbrook with her husband, Dan Coyne.
