ABOUT Barbara

Barbara helps clients prepare themselves and loved ones for life events by designing estate plans that help clients retain control and carry out their wishes.

Focusing on quality of life is important to Barbara’s practice. She develops collaborative relationships with her clients, as well as their financial advisors and other professionals to craft plans that meet the individual’s needs and provide security. Barbara also places a high priority on being available when crisis occurs. She is very comfortable helping families deal with capacity issues such as dementia, mental illness and developmental disabilities.

Barbara also practices with the firm’s Maine Center for Elder Law, which helps families with long-term care planning, special needs planning and MaineCare for nursing home and assisted living.
