Mark joined Perkins Thompson in 2020 as an attorney with the firm’s Trust and Estates practice group.  Mark works primarily in the Kennebunk office of the firm’s Maine Center for Elder Law, where he helps families find solutions for their long-term care planning needs as well as developing estate plans that are tailored to the individual.  Additionally, Mark has extensive experience in Probate and Trust Administration matters and guardian/conservatorships.  Mark believes in a collaborative approach to estate planning.  He frequently works with the client’s financial advisors and other professionals to ensure the client’s needs are fully met.  Mark earned his LLM (Masters of Law) in Estate Planning and Elder Law in 2015 and focuses his practice entirely in this area of the law.  He has been practicing law since 2007, having served as an Assistant District Attorney in York County for several years, and as a general practitioner to begin his career.

Outside of work, Mark and his wife enjoy playing on co-ed sports teams, walking their two dogs on the beautiful beaches of Maine, traveling, and getting together with friends.  He has a grown son who lives in California and Mark is very proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish Maine.
