Steve joined Perkins Thompson in 2021 as an associate attorney in the Litigation Practice Group focusing on a wide variety of civil matters including employment, construction, and general business disputes. He also handles criminal and Protection from Abuse cases.
Steve has tried many serious criminal cases to both judges and juries. He has conducted numerous motion hearings, commitment hearings, and other adversarial hearings. Steve has also written a number of appellate briefs and argued before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
While attending the University of Maine School of Law, Steve acted as co-chair of the Maine Association for Public Interest Law. He interned for the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office, the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety, and the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic.
Steve graduated from law school in 2016 and received the Faculty Award for Trial Advocacy. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Emerson College, majoring in Writing, Literature, and Publishing. Prior to attending law school, Steve worked as a reporter in Santiago, Chile.
Steve serves as a volunteer coach for the Maine Law Trial Team. Outside of work, Steve spends quality time with his dog Martie.
Steve received the Faculty Award for Trial Advocacy from the University of Maine School of Law.
