Whitney joined Perkins Thompson in 2020 as an associate attorney in the Litigation Practice Group focusing on a wide variety of civil matters including employment, construction, and general business disputes. Whitney brings an extensive background in trial work and a track record of successfully representing clients in courtrooms across the State of Maine.
Prior to joining Perkins Thompson, Whitney practiced at another local firm in Portland where she specialized in family matters, including divorce and child custody, and litigated serious criminal cases.
Whitney graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 2013. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the George Washington University in 2008, majoring in both economics and political science. Prior to attending law school, Whitney was a member of Teach for America and taught seventh grade social studies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Whitney is currently Vice President of the Board of Directors for the York Bar Association. In her free time, Whitney is an avid runner and enjoys hiking, gardening, home improvement projects and quality time with family.
